The Truth About EDEN Syndrome!

The man Yuuko Kamashiro had Scar and Kyoko investigate at the start of the series, a Mr. Yamashina is the man causing all the trouble at the Hospital. Being requested to investigate him this time by his actual Daughter, Scar and Yuuko agree to help Mr. Yamashina with his troubles. He request that the girls take him to same place where Crusadermon held Yuuko captivate.

When the girls and Mr. Yamashina reach the facility, he states lots of memories that had been erased from his mind start to return. He remembers that himself as well as another were lead researchers responsible for the creation of EDEN. Yamashina asks the Yuuko activate the machine and restore his memories, although something goes wrong when the machine is activated. Scar makes a connection jump into the machine and battles the Digimon responsible for the error in the retrieval of Mr. Yamashina's memories.

With Yamashina's memories returned he reveals a nasty truth about EDEN. EDEN had an closed Beta test eight years ago, during the Beta test five kids participating fell unconscious due to unknown causes. Four regained consciousness but one remained unconscious and EDEN Syndrome was born. But the cooperate heads spent way to much money developing EDEN so rather than let out the information on EDEN both the Nile Corp. and Kamashiro Ent. pretended as if nothing happened. Yamashina's partner erased the memory of the four children who regained their consciousness, as well as Yamashina so no one could report the incident.

Afterwards Scar gets a call from Matayoshi and Date, they are in danger and need help, the kind of help only a Cyber Sleuth can provide.
